What is Nerd Nite?
Nerd Nite is a monthly event held in cities around the world where people gather in a casual venue to hear fun, fascinating, and slightly nerdy talks while enjoying drinks and great company.
Think TED Talks… but with beer and way more laughs.
Speakers share short, entertaining presentations on everything from
- Science and technology
- History
- Pop culture
- The wonderfully weird corners of human curiosity
- And more…
Now it’s Evansville’s turn to join the global Nerd Nite community.
At our first show, you can expect:
- Three engaging short talks from local presenters
- A relaxed, social atmosphere- and maybe some nerdy trivia!
- Arcade games, cold beverages & one chicken machine
- Plenty of chances to meet fellow curious minds
